Dare To Be Fit Races Success
On Sunday, March 22nd, 2009, the Stanford University Campus featured the 26th Annual 5K Paul Spangler Run (for Runners Fifty and Over) and the Lifelong Fitness 5K Run for all ages...a Palo Alto Grand Prix Race. The weather cooperated with the rain coming through during the night but ending a couple hours before the races. You can go back and review the race course map.
Community Walk
Thanks to everyone who helped us to celebrate Lifelong Fitness at our 1-5 K Community Walk, produced in partnership with and benefiting: ALL STARS HELPING KIDS, for 20 years of promoting a safe, healthy and rigorous learning environment for disadvantaged children in low income communities.
Special Kids Clinics
There's was something for everyone. Kids had a chance to measure their pitching speed or learn soccer strategies and got track tips at our clinics following the Community Walk.
