Step It Up Kickoff is October 1 for the start of the expanded Step It Up program. This 10 week pedometer program is designed to increase fitness and offers incentives, camaraderie and fun along the way to better health! The walks begin in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Davis, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Morgan Hill, San Jose, East Bay, New Jersey, Georgia, Alaska, Colorado and other locations. It Up showed 100%
reported the program as "benefical" and would "receommend to a friend".
The Fall program is full is still accepting sign-ups so if you’re
interested, call Lifelong Fitness Alliance at (650) 361-8282. Enrollment
will be taken on a first come/first served basis, so act quickly San Francisco Peninsula+ Resources - In addition to the activities directly sponsored by Lifelong Fitness and it's Ambassadors, we provide links to other organizations and clubs with fitness activities people may be of interest to help anyone get or keep moving.

Calendar of Ongoing EventsWalking - Running - Biking - HikingWalks and Runs generally are a 3-4 mile round trip route, for a total of one hour on the trail. Runners may go a longer distance. All levels of ability are welcome, but some walks may include uphill terrain. Some walks may also include easier options for beginners. Wear good running or walking shoes Bring water. No charge(it is not necessary to be a member of Fifty-Plus Lifelong Fitness to attend.) Please bring a friend! Events are held rain or shine and on all holidays except Christmas Day and Lifelong Fitness Dare To Be Fit Weekend.
